    • JIMMY CHOUX won the G.3 Wellington Stakes on Saturday.

    The John Bary trained 3 year old colt by THORN PARK settled well in the running, he had the gun run on the fence behind the leader. Ridden by Jonathan Riddell

    "He's a good chaser and when Jetset Lad went for home and got clear at the top of the straight I was very happy because we just had to keep them in our sights and grab them as late as possible."

    He showed his brilliant finish again to score by 1 1/2 lengths.

    JETSET LAD fought well for second with HE'S REMARKABLE a further 2 1/4 lengths back in third.

    JIMMY CHOUX is now joint favorite with HE'S REMARKABLE for the Derby. It will be interesting as they now step up over more ground. We will get a better idea after the running of the Waikato Guineas over 2000m on Saturday week.
