    • The Listed Valachi Downs South Island Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes was taken out by PLATINUM PRINCESS at Riccarton Park on Saturday.

    She was settled midfield on the fence and was pulled out to make her move on the home turn, the gaps came and she rallied well to hit the lead at the 200 meter mark and go on to win by a long head from the fast finishing KUDAMM, INFERNO fought well to be a length away in third.

    The 4 year old by KEEPER - MERLE PARK is trained by Lisa Latta and was ridden by Rosie Myers. The 1600 meters was run in 1.35.95 on a Dead 4 track.
