RED RULER wins the Avondale

RED RULER showed his brilliance to come from last at the 600 meter to blow his rivals away in the 1400m Avondale at Counties on the 1st of December.

Trained by John Sargent and ridden by Mark Du Plessis the 6yo son of VIKING RULER did not have much luck in his recent Australian campaign but showed he has lost none of his talent, he ran the 1400m in 1.22.18. All going well he may start in the Group 1 ZABEEL Classic at Ellerslie on Boxing day.

IRISH OPERA was two lengths away in second with MR INVESTOR a long neck back in third.
